Easter weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend spending the holiday with loved ones. My husband was working on Easter and my parents left for Colorado last week to celebrate the holiday with my sister, so I was an orphan yesterday. Luckily a girl friend of mine came over and we ate all the ham, and asparagus we could fit into our bellies and binged on Revenge episodes on Netflix. I'm kind of obsessed with that show now that Scandal is done for the season. I may or may not have filled my belly with mimosas as well. They're so good though, I add Grand Marnier to the glass before the champagne. Delish!

Holidays are a little sad for me nowadays. Since we don't have kids yet, the holidays are just too quiet. I can't wait for the day I see little faces light up on mornings where they got a surprise visit during the night. I may have baby fever, but I know that we're not there yet so I can wait until we're ready. Still it's a little bittersweet.
